Sioux Falls Synergy out in the Community

by Cindy Elifrits on Mar.05, 2010, under SF Synergy Updates

On Wednesday, March 3, Sioux Falls Synergy volunteers packed 2,715 backpacks for the Community Food Bank’s BackPack Program, this year’s Breakfast of Caring recipient. These backpacks are given to children in the Sioux Falls School District whose families do not have the means to provide food to their children over the weekend. The backpack contents provide nutrition and fulfillment to the recipients, giving them the energy to be successful when they return to school on Monday.

This project is just one example of how you can make Sioux Falls a better community through your involvement with Sioux Falls Synergy!

Each month Sioux Falls Synergy hosts a social, civic or professional development project. These monthly efforts create an opportunity for young professionals to build relationships with others while becoming engaged in Sioux Falls. Upcoming events include Jeans ‘N Classics with the SD Symphony and a members tour of the new Avera Cancer Center.

This volunteer-led organization will celebrate 4 years on Thursday, May 13 at Falls Overlook Café. Mark your calendars now and celebrate with dueling pianos and Sioux Falls Synergy!
