Let Sioux Falls Hear Your Voice!
by Cindy Elifrits on Apr.26, 2010, under SF Synergy Updates
Tomorrow, April 27, 2010, you as a young professional have an incredible opportunity to shape the future of Sioux Falls. So often our interests and input is overshadowed by what’s always been done. Tuesday’s mayoral election, on the other hand, is about what can be done.
When I voted two weeks ago, I walked up to my polling site at 7:30am and was only the 14th person who had voted that morning. It surprised me. There was no line. There was no wait. From parking my car to driving out of the parking lot, I had dedicated less than 10 minutes to making sure my opinion counted.
Sioux Falls Synergy encourages you to make sure the young professional voice is heard on Tuesday, April 27. It’s quick, it’s easy, it’s painless . . . and it matters.
Thanks for being a part of Sioux Falls Synergy and for being a part of our community’s future. Let’s have the largest young professional turnout Sioux Falls has even seen.
See you at the polls!
Cindy

On Wednesday, March 3, Sioux Falls Synergy volunteers packed 2,715 backpacks for the Community Food Bank’s BackPack Program, this year’s Breakfast of Caring recipient. These backpacks are given to children in the Sioux Falls School District whose families do not have the means to provide food to their children over the weekend. The backpack contents provide nutrition and fulfillment to the recipients, giving them the energy to be successful when they return to school on Monday.
