by Cindy Elifrits on Dec.28, 2008, under SF Synergy Updates
At December’s Holiday Hot Spot on the 11th, Sioux Falls Synergy presented a check for $4,737.97 to the volunteers of NeedsFree. These dollars will go toward helping families with unforeseen car repairs. By partnering with mechanics who are donating their time to make the repairs, Sioux Falls Synergy’s gift will go toward purchasing the parts necessary for needed repairs.
An average repair costs a family $300. More than 15 families will benefit from the generosity of young professionals throughout Sioux Falls! Thank you to everyone who participated.

October Update
by Cindy Elifrits on Oct.21, 2008, under SF Synergy Updates
A rousing thank you to Secretary of State Chris Nelson for addressing Sioux Falls Synergy attendees on Friday, October 17. Secretary of State Nelson walked the group through each ballot item and then answered questions about the voting process, shared statistics, and spoke on other interesting facts. As election day is only weeks away, this was an effective way to help young professionals be informed as they head to the polls.
Sioux Falls Synergy is now taking RSVPs for the 1st Annual Breakfast of Caring on Thursday, November 20 from 7:30am – 9:00am at Shriver’s Square. Seats are $15 a piece. Visit our fundraiser link to learn more.
